Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Remember when we were kids and used to decorate shoe boxes and brown paper bags to use as our mailbox to receive valentines from classmates? I always looked forward to the valentines with candy! Those were the good ole days!

White Everywhere... except for one place...

Do you prefer white or yellow snow? Here at our house, we have both!!!

On the left is a picture of our house with about 4 inches of snow and a layer of ice underneath that. On the right is a picture of yellow snow created by Sammie.

You know its bad when they close schools and businesses up here because of the weather, but for the last 2 days, we have been at home because of the snow.

Ever heard of snow cream? Well if you haven't, all it is, is fresh snow mixed with sugar, milk, and vanilla and people up here make this to eat like ice cream... A work of advice, don't use the yellow kind!!!

Some Things Never Change...

Ok, so after I got over the trama of seeing a picture of me with my belly on our blog page, not knowing my wonderful husband was planning to post that (thanks to Rachel, I found out), I decided it would be fun to get revenge on him. As I thought about what I could post about him to share with you, I had a hard time coming up with something...

So, I decided to wait until I can capture something in action and share with you later. Furthermore, to update you on what is going on with the baby... Everything is fine and as you have probably read, her due date was pushed back 10 days, however I went to my Dr.'s appointment yesterday and he told me that he thinks I will end up delivering closer to my original due date...

Its already a huge mind game for 9 months when you're pregnant, experiencing all the changes with your body and then when they tell you you're going to be carring the little bundle of weight for another week and a half... its devestating! Well maybe not devastating, just tough to swallow. But now, they're saying the original due date seems to be more accurate... Who knows? She'll come when she's ready... Some things never change!

By the way, this Dr. compared pregnancy to being the same as being obese?!? What's that about??? Something for you to chew on...
