What Have We Been Up To???

As many of you know, we are about to travel to The States to visit family and friends for the next 5 1/2 months... which means we are spending a lot of time with our friends, saying lots of goodbyes and living in a little bit of chaos...

Here are the kids with their friend Eli... we went to Gargaoon with our local friends the other week... this is a celebration of one of their prophet's birthdays...and in one sense, very similar to Halloween, minus all the costumes (lots of chips/candy/money, etc

Here's Morgan with sweet Karis... Boy, is Morgan going to miss her little friend!

Happy 5th Birthday Jonathan! We went to a swim party where we celebrated our friend's b-day, played with friends & ate pizza and cake!!!

Morgan and her friend Abby

We are so blessed to be surrounded by so many families with kids Morgan and Micah's age

This is the B-Day Boy and his 2 sisters

Then our friends made this Awesome cake as we gathered one last time as a Big Group. It was so delicious... nothing better then PB & Chocolate combo!!! Thank you J & A!!!

And then the Big Packing/Moving Day arrived! This was only a part of the chaos of that day... we had 9 workers to help us out..but really they did all of the work that day. Our work was all of the prepping we did in the last several week prior. It was so nice to sit back and get some things done via computer while our house was being packed up and moved to storage where it will sit until we come back in January!!!

And here are most of our packing friends!!!

Since we had all of our things packed up, we have been staying at a friend's house while they travel and have spent time saying goodbyes to all of our friends here. What a great way to spend our last 4 days!!!

And soon (tomorrow), we board the plane and head to TX to see our family and loved ones!! More pics and stories to come from the other side of the ocean. Stay tuned!!! This family is TX Bound....

Mommy-Daughter "Date" Night

Last week, Morgan and I decided to take a "Mommy-Daughter" Date to go see a local play/musical in town. It was fun, just us girls hanging out without the boys! Here we are waiting in line to get our seats...

We met up with some of our friends and it was a night of fun with the Girls!

Here we are inside...waiting for the show to start

Our friend Megan was one of the hyenas in the show Lion King and she did a Great Job! She had her own cheering section!!!

Poor Girl! She wore herself out and just couldn't stay awake for the last 2 scenes...

But she popped up after the show as soon as the Star came out to give hugs! It was a fun night and I can't wait to experience more "Mommy-Daughter" Dates with Morgan!
