Beautiful View + Creativity

Yesterday (Wednesday), we decided to go to the beach and play while Randall went on his Wednesday Weekly Bike Ride. Here is our view:

What's neat about this part of the beach is that there is a playground within steps of the water

It was very windy but Morgan still managed to cheese for the camera!

Waiting for Daddy to finish with his bike ride, ready to play in the water!

Since this beach trip was a last minute idea, we forgot our beach toys... so what did the kids decide to do???

Yes, those are bottle caps! They found a bunch of caps at the playground and decided to build stuff in the sand using the bottle caps... guess its never too early to teach the kids to keep the environment clean!!!

At last, Randall finished his bike ride and joined the kids in the water for a nice cool down, enjoying the beautiful sunset!!!
We have to get creative with our family time as we tend to get "Island Fever" every once and a while... but we make the most of the beautiful nature all around us... P.S. This is an informal invitation for all of you needing to get away from your part of the world!!!

Without a Bottom Tooth...

As of today Morgan is 4 1/2 years old... and as of today Morgan is without 1 tooth!!! She lost her first tooth this morning. It all started a few weeks ago when she was showing us that she could move her tooth with her fingers and thought it was pretty cool. Then this past weekend, we were eating with friends and all of the sudden her tooth became Really loose! So Randall messed with it a bit and loosened it even more. And this morning at breakfast, she bit into her first bite of waffle and started screaming as she immediately saw blood.

"Yikes! It's Time!" thought Randall as he took a tissue, reached in and barely touched it before it came right out. He didn't even know it was out until he looked into the tissue. And this is a really "fresh picture" after the "some what traumatic" event....

Here she is at "her reward lunch"... we decided to eat out for lunch today and Morgan brought along her coins with the intent to spend it.

Here's a little background on that tooth: When Morgan was around 1 y/o and starting to walk, she fell and hit her bottom tooth on the stairs. We watched it closely the following year as it started turning dark (thankfully it was on the bottom, so it didn't effect her smile too much). Then we took her to a Dentist (back in the States) over 2 years ago and she did an x-ray and said that the root was dead and that she would not pull it, but for us to let it fall out naturally, since it was only a baby tooth.
If you look closely in these 2 pics, you can see on the bottom-center row, the dark little tooth.
Today after the tooth came out, we noticed that a new tooth is already coming in, but due to Morgan's age (by the way, the average age is 6 y/o for loosing a 1st tooth), we took her to the Dentist here to check it out and make sure it was not infected, esp since the hole is pretty deep. The Dentist said Morgan looks great and that so far, everything looks good! What a Praise!
And so she waits.... for the "tooth fairy" to add to her collection of coins!

Our Little Rock Star

Its no secret that Micah takes after Randall in so many ways... his looks, his charm, his need of at least 8 hrs of sleep (haha) and recently, we learned of his love and talent for music (specifically the guitar!!!) I couldnt' help myself but create this video of Micah with Randall's guitar...

Enjoy!!! And for all of you gifted singers reading/watching this, I apologize in advance if Micah wasn't in the right key, but trust me, its a super cute performance!!!
