Morgan's Nursery

Well, here is what Morgan's nursery looks like! The main colors are a deep red, black, and white. The letters on her wall were given to us by my sister, Meghan who
painted and decorated them. The little details consist of butterflies, dragon flies, and flowers. Enjoy the pics!

2 Weeks!!!

Morgan is officially 2 weeks old now and is doing great! We took her to the Dr. for her first check-up and she has gained weight and is now 6lbs 10oz and is 20 1/2 inches long. The Dr. gave good reports and says everything looks great and that Morgan is very healthy, which is a wonderful blessing. Thank you to all of you who have been praying along the way for our daughter. We will try and keep you updated (as our internet allows). We will take pics of the nursery and post them so you who all live far away (which is most of you) can see what it looks like. We ask for prayers for us as we contine figuring this parenting thing (its not as easy as it looks on T.V.)!!! Although, it is very rewarding!!!

So Girly!!!

For those of you that have been keeping up with our blog might remember when Randall posted a pic of me when I was pregnant (without me knowing it). Well, I'm not the best at paybacks, but I thought this one was cute and worth sharing!

I got curious as to what Morgan would look like with a headband (lace and bow too), seeing that she is only 9 days old. So I brought her out to show her daddy and he about fell off the couch. In other words, our biggest fear of having a girl.. super girly!!!

One week old!!!

Proud Papa!!!
Randall is here with his girls (I think one is more jealous then the other).

Today is Morgan's one week Birthday!

It's amazing how she has changed in the last week and is starting to form her own personality. Here in the picture, she is sucking on her fingers.. refusing the pacifier.. takes after her mom (at least that is what I was told, that I used to suck my thumb) We'll see if we break the habit.

Your Favorite Newborn...

Morgan swallowed by her carseat! (Right before we left the hospital)
After a few frustrating days of our computer acting up, we are finally able to share more pics of Morgan with you. Well, we got discharged from the hospital on Sunday and have started the process of adjusting to new schedules, mainly working off of Morgan's schedule. Family is gone now and we are now left alone figuring out this parenting thing on our own. Scary? Yes! But awesome at the same time! Randall is back at work and I am currently on spring break from school and plan to go back to classes in 2 weeks.

Enjoy the rest of the pics!

Morgan in her premie diapers, that still are too big!!!

Morgan Has Arrived

Well everything is going well. We are still at the hospital, but both mother and baby are doing well. Morgan Elizabeth McQueen was born at 10:36 a.m. this Friday morning. She weighed 6lbs 3oz and was 20 inches long. It sounds like we may will be getting out of the hospital on Sunday morning, but nothing is for sure here. Well that's all for now but I'll have more to post soon...

Testing

Hey guys I'm just testing this email posting out to see if it works, in case the baby comes soon...like tonight! -R

Any Day Now

Just wanted to update you on the baby... Things are moving along, slowly but surley. The doctor decided that if Liz hasn't had the baby by this Friday, the 9th, the doctor will induce. So, we will have a baby by the end of the week. All of our family has come in for the big event, minus Chris, Liz's brother, and Natalie, my sister. It's a bit crazy here but it has been nice to see family. So we'll update here, and try to call as many of you as we can. Please continue to pray, for Liz as well. Thanks guys, --R
