Stolen

Those of you who know me know that I play the bass, well in a recent turn of events, our church got broke into this past Saturday night and my guitar was stolen!!! Yes, the same guitar that I bought with my own money when I was in the 8th grade. My first guitar, the one I learned all my mad skillz on. (well maybe not mad, but some skills yes) So now every time I come to work I feel violated and some what paranoid about leaving anything outside of my office not locked up when I'm not here. I know somewhere in all this there is a lesson about earthly possessions, but it's just my guitar had some pretty significant sentimental value to me. Oh, well guess I better just get over it and think it could have been worse. They could have vandalized the church, stolen, both my acoustic and electric guitars and many other things, but they didn't. On the bright side I will get a new bass, it won't be the same, but it will be new and think of the story I have to tell about how I got it!!

Picture in Hedding

I'm going to refer to another page first,

if anyone has anymore questions, I'll try to answer them if i can

http://betabloggerfordummies.blogspot.com/2006/10/how-to-add-picture-to-beta-blog-header.html

try out this site and u should be able to do it.

Don't forget you must have beta blogger and unfortunately you must update your layout to one of the new layouts (it will still look like the one you originally made, but will loose all customization that has been done, but with the new layout version it is very easy to replace what has been changed.

I created an entire new "spoof" blog to test this on before applying the changes to my actual blog.

Hope this helps

Christmas In Texas

We made it through yet another Christmas and had a wonderful time visiting family and friends in Texas. We spent part of our time visiting the Walker side in Allen (DFW area) and the other part in San Antonio visiting the McQueen side. This was the first time for our family to see me pregnant, so it was quite fun seeing the various reactions to my big tummy. And at the same time we realize that every Christmas from this point on will never be the same, seeing how our daughter will be 9 months old this time next year... Yikes, it sure adds new fun to traveling plans! We hope each one of you had as equally a wonderful and memorable Christmas and wish you a Happy New Year!
