Fun in the sun

We have been swimming since the middle of April (off and on) and have discovered that Morgan loves the water, although that was much different when she was an infant. Basically swimming to her is like taking a very long bath in a very large bathtub. Now she knows as soon as we bring out the sunscreen and floaties, its time to go swimming. The funny thing is that she thinks she can just step into the "big" pool and and no problem , she is a professional swimmer. She forgets there are steps and that she needs assistance even though floaties do help keep her head above water. Enjoy the pics... trying out the floaties to see if they really work

Update on our move

Just a little update on what is going on in our world these days...

We moved to the north Dallas area about 1 1/2 weeks ago and Randall has started working at the church as 6th grade minister/sports and recreation intern. Liz is doing some counseling at the church. We are living in our own apt and enjoying having our own space. Morgan has adjusted quite well to the move and has switched from a crib to a toddler mattress. It makes our nights most interesting as she can get in and out of her bed whenever she wants to. Mostly, she rolls in her sleep from the mattress to the ground, which is only about a 6 inch difference. She is constantly talking in her own language and making us laugh a lot. We can make out words such as dadda, momma, ball, baby, juice, nanna (bannana), and she learning sign language for all these words.

Her newest thing is dancing, which is more like running in place, and we (Randall) are working on making a video to share. Morgan loves to attempt to run and leap on her bed, which is quite funny. We appreciate all your prayers and plan to keep you updated more often now that we have internet again. Please continue checking our blog for updates...

What's Next?

There has been quite some change in the McQueen family over the past month. First of all to answer questions by many, Yes, we are looking to relocate to the DFW area to move closer to a main campus seminary for the next year or so until we complete the process of moving abroad. With this move means new job, new home, new church, new friends, etc... the list goes on... With all the change going on in our lives, we can always count on Morgan to do something hallarious or crazy to keep us smiling and laughing. She truly is turning into her own little person with her own mind to make her own decisions... What's Next??? From the pics below you can get a glimpse of what we see everyday... ever changing...

She's Walking Now

Well everybody here it is... after some time spent with the camera and Morgan, Randall found some time between school and watching Morgan to make a video (here ya go Joyce) for everybody to enjoy. The crazy thing is about 2 or 3 weeks ago Morgan just suddenly decided that she didn't want to crawl anymore and was going to walk everywhere...and I mean everywhere!!! Hope you enjoy the video, and remember don't be to impatient at the end..... you'll see why.
