Today we celebrated our 6th Wedding Anniversary. We had the privilege of going out on a date (alone without the kids), which was so nice for us to enjoy each other's company. We went to see Robin Hood in the theaters (which is a great movie) and realized it was our first time to go to the movies (just the 2 of us) since we moved to the Middle East a year ago. We laughed as we listened to Unchained Melody being played as we awaited the previews (Liz played this on her recorder or clarinet in grade school many years ago).
We then enjoyed a nice romantic dinner at a highly recommended Asian/Thai restaurant. It was fun and somewhat new to us eating a candle lit dinner (not thinking it would have been near as enjoyable or romantic with our 2 kids).
Our waiter was very happy to take our picture for us!
So happy that he suggested we take a picture by one of the buddha statues! We felt a little strange taking a picture by this statue of a 1/2 naked man, but did it anyways for a good laugh! All in all, we had a Great Anniversary and feel so blessed!
