Randall and I recently took a "weekend get-away" without the kids! Even though the trip was work related, it was still our first time EVER being away from the kids, together, at the same time (for 3 nights)

This is one of the largest dals in the Middle East... Although it is not used for the purpose of fishing, etc, it is now connected to a hotel and has a restaurant/ banquet room on the inside... It was HUGE!!!
Just for Fun...
It was so good for us to get away and enjoy time without the kids... Although we did miss them like crazy and had a sweet reunion when we returned!
We did venture outside of the main city and found more dals; abandoned nonetheless... but still fun to explore!!!
The kids did great being away from Dad and Mom... it was as if they wanted us to stay gone longer! Thanks to our dear friends who took care of them for us, we enjoyed our trip, were able to relax being apart from Morgan and Micah and look forward to many more get-aways!!!
