Morgan's First Trip to the Theaters!

Today we took Morgan to see her first movie in the theaters and thought she was big enough to sit through it and enjoy it too. We saw Alvin & The Chipmunks 2 because we have the first one and Morgan watches it over and over and loves it! So when we arrived to the theater, we had to buy M & M's for her because she thought she "needed candy".

Then we looked down at our tickets and saw that we had "assigned seats" and just had to laugh! So we followed the rules and sat in our assigned seats even though it was a 12 Noon showing and besides the 3 of us, there were only about 15 other people there.

The first thing Morgan said was "That is a Huge T.V.!" (we thought that was cute!) and once the movie started, she was hooked! Funny thing, about 10 minutes into the movie, we heard a cell phone ringing and it kept ringing and ringing and no one was answering it. Then we saw a lady walking down the aisle with the ringing phone, trying to find her way out. The less then 2 minutes later, another lady walked out on her cell phone too.

However, these 2 ladies never returned to the movie, which left about 7 or 8 kids (ages 4-10) unsupervised, running up and down the aisle stairs and talking, sometimes screaming who knows what. We let this go on for about 5 minutes and then Randall finally got up and told them to be quiet (in Arabic!, Way to Go Randall!).

This only lasted for about 5 minutes until the kids started up again. So this time Randall got up to get one of the theater workers and he kept an eye on the kids for the rest of the movie. Overall, we had a great time and it was really cool watching Morgan during the movie as she was dancing and singing along with the Chipmunks and Chipettes!
