Four Wheelers & Popsicles

We have kept busy with creative activities this summer as its always over 100 degrees here during the day and we still sweat when we go outside at night! But thankfully we have good friends nearby and our kids play well together. Earlier this summer, we traveled to another nearby country in the Middle East and had 3 other friends to play with. Now we are back in our city and reconnecting with old friends.

Last week, we drove about 3 hrs away to see our friends in a bigger city and were able to spend time with their local friends as they continue to observe Ramadan (fasting from sunrise to sunset)this month. We were invited to break fast with them at sunset and instead of eating, our kids discovered, new Big Toys to play on!

Here the 2 girls are: I guess living by the motto, "Girls Rule!, No Boys allowed!" (haha!)

When we returned back to our city, we found an unopened box that had arrived via mail and behold, we have popsicle makers! The kids love them and think its so fun to pick out different juices to make popsicles out of. (Thanks Joyce and Lori!)

These 2 together are so funny! Never a dull moment and full of entertainment!

We just call her "Miss Sassy" because that is exactly that she is. Who could she have gotten that from?

And the popsicles keep coming! Nearly everyday the kids are asking for them or trying to open the freezer to get them out! Kids are so funny
