Daddy-Daughter Date in Dubai!!!

This past weekend, Randall and Morgan had their first "Daddy Daughter Date in Dubai" and this was just the 1st of many dates to come! They first started off by driving the 2 hours to Dubai in the car and according to Randall, Morgan talked almost the entire way there. He said only in the last 15 minutes did he have to turn on a movie for her. Wow! That's a lot of talking!!!

Then they started their date at the huge Dubai Aquarium in Dubai Mall (over 3 stories high) and went through through the underwater zoo as well as the aquarium.

This was a "bubble" that you go under and up in it so that it feels like you are actually in the tank. Thank you to some nice lady for taking the picture!

This might have been Morgan's first time to see a penguin. Amazing to think they actually have penguins in the Middle East... and ice too!

There was an employee of the underwater zoo who was holding a boa-constricter and allowing the people to hold or touch it.. And Morgan was among those who touched it!!! Brave Soul she is!

All in all, Morgan seemed to really love the aquarium and zoo and wants to take Mommy and Micah back some day!

After the aquarium, the next place they went to was Chili's! What a treat for them! And as they were sharing chips and salsa, the dialogue went something like this...

Morgan: "Daddy, when are we going on our date?

Randall: "We are on our date"

Morgan: "No we're not, we're at the eating place"

Randall: "Well, what do you think a date is?"

Morgan: "Its when 2 people are together and go to a special place by themselves where no other people can go"

Haha! The way her little mind works and the things she thinks of and says makes her sound so old! After eating, they shopped around at the mall and then ended their date by buying ice cream on their way home. How can you top that date???
