August in Full Swing...

This month has been busy, full of visitors, and fun events!

Our friends vacationed in The Big City for a few days so we went to the water park here for the 1st time! It was so much fun seeing these 3 reunite... after all they have been best buds since they (Micah & Lucy) were 3 months old and Morgan was 2 y/o! 

Thought getting a family pic would be best before getting all wet!

 

Here's the Kid Area... Pretty Awesome! 

The kids seemed so big going up and down the stairs to and from the slides all by themselves... thankfully the kids' slides were pretty slow moving compared to the adult slides but it was still such a great setup for the kids to play!

To my surprise, they actually sat still for more pics... probably because Mom and Dad tricked them with having a cold drink!

August 7, 2013 Randall and I celebrated 9 years of marriage... our last year in single digits! Its pretty amazing as we looked back at our journey thus far... we've lived in 4 different countries, have 2 amazing kids, learned a 2nd language that we can fully function in and we get to travel to some pretty awesome places... We love our life!

And thanks to Randall's Uncle Mike, Aunt Janet and his cousin Thomas who visited us (arrived on the 7th), we got to enjoy a wonderful anniversary dinner at one of our favorite places, P.F. Changs! Love this man, my best friend, partner and father of our children. So very blessed!

Randall's family stayed with us for 5 days and we explored some of the city... of course we had to take them to the mall that sits at the foot of the Tallest Building in the World! We enjoyed our time with them so much and it was so encouraging for our whole family to be with family! 

And last but not least, Morgan and I drove down to our old city, in a neighboring country to witness a dear friend (of 4 years) get married. What's interesting is that as long as you know someone, who knows someone, who's a friend or neighbor of the bride or groom's family, you are welcomed at weddings in this part of the world. But this wedding had so much extra meaning to us as this dear friend really helped me along in language and worked at the daycare Morgan and Micah went to for the 2 years we studied language. So thankful for memories like this one.
