Project 365 (week 5)

Can I just say that I LOVE FOOD??? I love to eat it, I love to cook it, I love to try new things, new recipes and now I'm learning to love to photograph it!!!

This week, the focus was Not intentionally "food" but seeing as I do cook a lot, it was a natural thing for me to play around with my camera. I mean, you don't have to tell it to smile, stand still, stop squinting, look at the camera... HAHA.. that's just my kids I have to do that with!!

Day 29: Feta Cheese and Roasted Chick Peas has become my "Go To" to make salads taste so Delish! Love! Love! Love These Toppings!

Day 30: Oreos and Nutella in the same bite? Are you kidding me? (new recipe)

Day 31: Thank you Pinterest... Teriyaki Fried Rice was Amazing!

Day 32: Nothing says Fall like Chili & Cornbread

Day 33: Our Creative Attempt of roasting Marshmallows over our gas stove

Day 34: So Serious. So Focused.

Day 35: A regular snack in our household... with or without a Movie

Ok, Ok... So I went a little overboard with the food picture taking this week... But Lucky for you... there are extra pictures posted for this week!!!
Now, for those who are keeping up with my health reports... (haha)... I recently was very ill with the Flu, followed by Pneumonia. And as I thought I was on the road to recovery... found out (today) that I fractured my rib. Seriously? I guess its from 3-4 weeks of heavy coughing.

Well, the beautiful- deliciousness above is in result to me feeling really frustrated and down about having to "rest" another 2 weeks and not being able to go on my daily runs. It may sound silly... but running is my outlet to dealing with stress or high emotions and when my one "outlet" is not possible... its hard on a girl!

So, I turned to comfort (but shared with the rest of my family) hehe.

And Last BUT Certainly NOT Least...
My sweet kiddos, hard to work at school! So proud of them!! (please excuse the messy table)

If any of the food above interests you, please feel free to leave a message and I'll send you the recipe(s)... As always, comments, tips & resources are welcomed!!!

Project 365 (week 4)

I am alive and feeling good! It feels so great to be out and about and to want to actually cook real food again as opposed to being stuck in bed, sick. I definitely took the camera outside this week as the weather is finally cooling off and we are out of the 100's!!!

Day 22: Heavenly Homemade Carmel Popcorn... Gracious! This is sinful!

Day 23: A wonderful surprise note in my journal

Day 24: Southwestern Goodness on a plate

Day 25: They know how to do unique here

Day 26: Beauty right outside our window

Day 27: Miracles do happen! My kid likes meat now!! (turkey that is)

Day 28: My Sweeties

Thank you for all of you who are staying up with my photo project! Its becoming one of the highlights of my week! And as always, comments and tips or ideas are welcomed!!

Project 365 (week 3)

This week was even more challenging then last week... Why? Because my flu turned into pneumonia and I was "forced" to stay in bed for several days. So, I made the most of what I could with my pictures...

Day 15: Trying on the new house shoes... they looked "fall-ish" to me

Day 16: My sweet Flower Child and Hubby showered me with roses

Day 17: Love these feet! Still cute to me even though they are getting big

Day 18: The REAL Deal Bacon

Day 19: Favorite soup: Broccoli & Cheese (hence: the real deal in day 18)

Day 20: Totally taking after his Daddy

Day 21: My View in bed... lots of water and a lot of elecrtonics

Hoping to get outside more this next week! As always, your feedback and comments are always welcomed!

Project 365 (week 2)

This week has been a stretch for me to take as many pictures as I had planned and I didn't spend near the time I wanted to with my camera.
About 6 days ago, I came down with the flu and all my "to do lists" and other "Type A lists" I had made took a backseat. But I still managed to pull off days 8-14.

Day 8: Homemade Italian at its finest

Day 9: Fall has arrived in our house

Day 10: Sibling Love

Day 11: A handful of color goodness

Day 12: Texas in a bowl

Day 13: Living color in the desert

Day 14: Cutest ballerina around

As always, please feel free to give feedback, tips and resources.
