Mini Vacation Part 2

Here's a continuation of pics from our "mini vacation" we took a week ago...

This was the night of Mother's Day... we headed to a mall to eat at Chili's and this was Liz trying to get a "Happy Mother's Day" pic with the kids... but as you can see, it was just a typical moment as the kids were doing everything but smiling and not cooperating... haha, Happy Mother's Day anyway!!

We were able to stay at an apartment/hotel so we split it with our friends... and here are the kids vegging in front of the TV after a long, hot swim.

Here they are, actually in the pool... I think this was before Micah got brave to swim off on his own, but none the less, we still had fun!

Here he is... on his own and loving the water! Which is such a blessing because we were afraid he was going to have a fear of water from his previous experience in pools, beaches, etc.

Great pic of the dancing fountains in Dubai... what a sight!

Not very often do we actually get a picture without the kids... or even with both of us in it... but thanks to our friends, we finally captured one!

And what better way to end a trip then to see this awesome sign... Texas Roadhouse is coming to the Middle East! And the funny thing is: everyone in the pic is from Texas!!! What a great vacation, full of laughs, memories, great company, and well-needed rest.
