On The GO....

This past month has been a whirlwind as we have been on the Go quite a bit. 

Liz started this month traveling to Jordan for a training/retreat... It was her first time to travel there and  as you can see from the pics below.. she went alone.. which left Randall at home. alone. with. the kids.

(But they survived!)

Below are pics of Jerash... a Roman Ruin where so much Biblical History is.. 

It was beautiful and so full of Life! 

Here's the amphitheater... breath-taking.. The whole time I (Liz) was there, I kept thinking "Who all has been here? What famous speeches were made here?" 

And of course anytime there's an opportunity to climb something (that's safe of course)... I climb it!

And then later in the month, Randall and I traveled to Germany... Randall had a work related training and I (Liz) got to go along for "support" while our sweet friends took care of our kids! This was our first time in Germany outside of the airport and it was Beautiful!

It was So GREEN, So COLD and We LOVED it!! A nice break from the brown desert we live in.. haha! *Forgot how tall trees were!

 Yes... We rode that! It was a 20 minute chairlift up the ride of a Big Hill, overlooking the Rhine in Germany...

And this was our view from up top of the chairlift.. We enjoyed a great German Lunch with this as our view! Again... Breath-Taking!

 

We then toured a German village, which felt somewhat like a scene from Beauty in the Beast... I (Liz) was imagining Belle singing as she strolled along these stone roads, looking for the library! (Can you tell I have a little princess for a Daughter?)

There were castles everywhere! And more GREEN!

And YES... we are still children at heart... esp Randall! At first we thought this was a name of a town, but then we started seeing "Ausfahrt" in several places, so our only conclusion is that it means "Exit..." (for those who know the German Language better then we do, please tell us what it means)

 

And while we were in Germany, our kids stayed with some friends and their 2 little girls... They had a very eventful week, full of activities! They went to the beach, a few indoor play areas, had a play date at a new friend's house, and even went to a water park!

We had a great month of travel and feel extremely blessed to be able to visit new places, try new food and meet new friends along the way!
