Happy 1 Month!!!

So Micah is officially one month old and is now his turn to "star" in a video on the Blog. Although his first video isn't the "most exciting", we thought those of you who haven't met Micah in person would appreciate seeing him move in action. Enjoy watching as he is starting to discover his hands...

He is 1 month old here and his passport will be good for 5 years; poor guy, he has to use this newborn pic for the next 5 years. Big Sister is already learning how to help out and feed Baby Brother!! Who would have thought Morgan would be babysitting already....even before her second birthday (only 1 month away)!

Twice the Fun, Twice the Loss of Sleep...

If you are a mother and are reading this, you can probably relate... You know what it is like to be so tired and yet so full of energy at the same time (energy that runs off of nothing BUT LOVE for your new little one). Well take that feeling and multiply it by 2 and that is a small glimpse of what it is like at our household. Especially the past few nights, where Morgan has been up through out the night because she is fighting the flu symptoms and Micah is up every 2-3 hours for his routine feedings. They both tend to nap throughout the day as needed, but it seems to be at different times, so there is always one child needing attention. However, it is all WORTH IT!

1 week old!

Proud Mom as Liz and Micah are being discharged from the hospital (What a difference in recovery when you have had an epidural! Nothing like Morgan's birth- no pain medication!)

Micah Van McQueen is 1 week old today! He has survived our family so far and especially Big Sister, who can't get enough of little brother, always wanting to hold him, kiss him and hug him! Here in the pic above, he is sun bathing as he has a little jaundice. Overall Micah is doing great! We had our visit with his pediatrician this past week and she reports everything is healthy and all positive feedback. Praise to God!

Micah is Here!!!

Hey Everybody, so here is our first post of baby Micah. He was born at 12:55 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14. Micah was 6 lbs. and 7 oz. and 20 inches long. For those of you around when Morgan was born she was the same length as Micah and 4 oz. lighter. Mom and baby did GREAT and are doing awesome!! More pictures are to come......
