Tickets for 4...

As a reward to Morgan and Micah for putting up with all of our craziness, living out of suitcases for the last 2 months, traveling, moving countries, making new friends, etc... we decided that they deserved a reward! So we had a family date and went to the movies.

It was our first time to go to the theaters as a family of 4 and somewhat expensive, I might add. Especially since Micah is such a devoted Cars fan, it was only appropriate that we take him to to see Cars 2 as his first official theater movie. (for those who don't remember, Morgan's 1st theater experience was Alvin and The Chipmunks 2). Here is an overview of our family date:

Our 1st (of many more to come) purchase of 4 movie tickets...

If you could have only seen the size of their eyes when they saw a window filled with tons of popcorn!!!

And of course, Morgan had to have her cheesy popcorn... takes after her Daddy!

Micah decided that he needed to hold his own bowl of popcorn too... So what did he do? What he always does best: Make friends with the one who works the popcorn stand.

Finally, in our seats... Someone's eyes were GLUED!!!

This was one happy little boy!!! He loved his first theater experience!!!

It was a well- needed and long overdue family outing. We all enjoyed ourselves and look forward to the next family movie... that is after we start a savings account to afford the next time. Haha! A real treat for us all! If you haven't seen Cars 2, go see it! Its super cute!
