Surfing in the Middle East... why not?

Randall has discovered a new hobby.. SURFING! He has become friends with a guy from school and his friend introduced him to surfing. He tried it out a few months ago (for the first time) and then a few weekends ago, drove down to the coast (about 8 hours away from our city) with his friend to meet up with some other surfer friends. Enjoy the pics!
Here they are with their boards (by the way their shirts are made out of some really cool material that keep them from getting sun burned), remember it is summer time in the Middle East

Here's a view of the waves... reminds us of some scene from the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean

There was a hurricane that hit the coast a few weeks back and they found this boat along the shore (must have been pushed from the high winds to shore).. so of course the guys did some exploring

Again, another photo that reminds us of Pirates of the Caribbean.. none the less, a cool shot of the boat and the ocean

And what's a weekend surf trip without seeing a camel? On the way down to the coast, they saw this camel along the side of the road eating some sort of cassette tape or something with film... Only here would we encounter a camel on the side of the road!

Wow! Looks like you had a great time. I wonder if surfing around here would be somewhat the same? Great pictures too!

Things you have never thought you would get into when you were moving over to the Middle East. Awesome!
